Basket Lake Uranium Property, Dryden ON – available for Joint Venture Takara owns a 100% in this
property, acquired in 2007 on the basis of a distinctive airborne geophysical
feature that is coincident with multiple, clustering, U anomalies identified
from published government lake sediment geochemical data. Several other U
projects with similar exploration models are active in the region, in particular
the historic Richard Lake uranium deposit, located ~135km to the northwest.
No previous exploration work by other companies is known for the project area,
much of which has been recently logged providing new exposures of the bedrock
and excellent access.
